This cigar holder/divot tool is made from Bloodwood (Brosimum rubescens), also called Cardinalwood or Satine because of the lustrous finish it can take. Another very dense wood with a specific gravity of about 1.01. As the name implies, the wood has a very red coloration, similar to Padauk, but unlike Padauk and most other reddish woods, the color won't fade from oxidation and exposure, and will actually deepen over time.
